About the association
Our founding team
The Global Peace Partnership (GPP) was launched by a small core team that pooled its expertise to build the movement:
- Markus Ulrich – President in the founding phase, initiator, international coordinator, …
- Christian Schauperl – Secretary in the transitional board, responsible for web development, digital infrastructure, …
- Nadja Ulrich – Treasurer on the transitional board, responsible for data processing, …
All team members work on a voluntary basis alongside their professional activities, without financial remuneration.

As the founding team, we are convinced that peace does not happen by itself. It requires courage, trust and people who are prepared to take responsibility. Especially in a world full of conflicts, we want to show that cooperation across borders is possible – between citizens, organisations and states.
Our motivation is to make a contribution so that future generations can live in a world characterised by dialogue, respect and cooperation.
